Office: The School Office is open from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
School: You may bring your child to school as early as 7:45 a.m.
1st - 6th Grade: 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
7th and 8th Grade: 8:15 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
After School:
3:00pm - 3:30pm
Snack time
3:30pm - 4:30pm
Homework, quiet games and activities, reading.
4:30pm - 5:45pm
Outdoor playtime (weather permitting), indoor playtime, arts & crafts, videos, computer time.
5:45pm - 6:00pm
Clean up and pack up time.

Travel Instructions:
Queens Lutheran School is conveniently located on 21st Avenue, between 31st and 33rd Street in Astoria, Queens, New York.
• By Car:
From Long Island: Take The Grand Central Parkway to the Hoyt Avenue exit, the last exit before the Triborough Bridge. Carefully move to the right after the light and make a right turn onto 31st Street. Take 31st Street to 21st Avenue, make a right turn onto 21st Avenue. The school will be on your right.
From Manhattan: Take the Triborough Bridge to the 31st Street Exit, the first exit at the base of the bridge. At the second light make a left turn. At the next light make a left turn and move right towards the diner. Make a right turn onto 31st Street. Take 31st Street to 21st Avenue, make a right turn onto 21st Avenue. The school will be on your right.
*Please note that 31st Street and Hoyt Avenue is a very busy intersection and it is often difficult to move right due to truck traffic on the service road. If you cannot safely and easily move right to make the turn at 31st Street, proceed to 28th Street or 24th Street, make a right turn there and proceed to 21st Avenue. At 21st Avenue make a right turn and proceed to the school.
• By Train:
Take the N or W train to the Ditmars Boulevard Station, the last stop. Exit the station and walk north, away from the end of the train station, to 21st Avenue. Turn right on 21st Avenue. The school will be on your right.
• By Bus:
Take the 19A bus to Ditmars Boulevard and 31st Street. Walk north, away from the end of the train station, to 21st Avenue. Turn right on 21st Avenue. The school will be on your right.
